I don’t know who needs to hear this but you’re not a sellout if you make prints of your fine art originals. Alternatively, you can absolutely release your work to the world and make fine art collections even if you’re not a master painter, even if you didn’t go to art school.
Artists spend most of their time painting and coming up with new art collections. I wish! I wish so badly that’s all there was to do to make a living as an artist. Sadly, that is not the way of the world of creative entrepreneurship. One day, I will be in a position where I can outsource all the tasks that I’m weakest at and focus more of my time on actually painting. Alas, today I wear many hats. This collection is of storms; coming, going, just about to break. Clouds that are in motion - moving, erupting and then dissipating again. You can see movement in every sky painted, swift winds that are taking your eye from one corner to the next, just as each day this year has swept you from one extreme to another.
